About the CHM Sculpture Park and Fellowship Program
The Coldstream Homestead Montebello Sculpture Park and Fellowship Program was a public art project that took place between October 2016 and October 2017 created through the Lots Alive granting program courtesy of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability’s Growing Green Initiative in collaboration with the Coldstream Homestead Montebello Community Corporation.

During the CHM Sculpture Park and Fellowship Program,
Program Director Lisa Dillin oversaw eight artists as they worked towards the creation of outdoor works which were displayed during a 6-month long exhibition in the park. A visiting artist program, group critiques, and fellowship honorarias prepared participants for the resulting exhibition program.
The CHM Sculpture Park and Fellowship Program was a scholarly opportunity for emerging and midcareer sculptors that provided exposure to area artists while transforming a vacant lot into an engaging and serene public space for all to enjoy. Public programming such as sculpture workshops and performance art events took place throughout the course of the exhibit.
